American-Playboy

With cable, Netflix, and internet options, finding the best thing to watch during your downtime is difficult. Instead of flipping through menus all weekend and settling on nothing, turn to What to Watch This Weekend, a series in which we give you our pick for the best new show or movie available.

If your girlfriend asks, you’re watching this documentary for the articles. Premiering today on Amazon Prime Video, American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story is a fascinating look at the life of the man who built one of the most legendary magazine franchises the world has ever seen. The reason Playboy is so much more than a nudie mag is Hef, and this docuseries shows why he was such a revolutionary. The series spans six decades and includes insights from Hefner and never-before-seen footage from the early years of the magazine’s formation that’s spliced in with a reenactment not unlike The People v. O.J. Simpson. It’s time to appreciate those mags you found under your older brother’s bed many moons ago.

Moon-Puzzle-IF2

We pride ourselves on being able to tackle problems and jigsaw puzzles like everyone else–from the edge pieces in. That’s a little more difficult when it comes to thousand piece adventures like the Moon puzzle you see here. In is out, out is in, and there’s an entire quadrant of almost fully gray pieces that depict the lunar surface, but all of that just adds to the productive difficulty you’ll experience when you’re assembling this jigsaw version of modern history. As they tell it, “July 16, 2019 marked the 50 year anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch – the historic mission to the Moon where Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first of humankind to set foot on the Moon. Our Moon puzzle celebrates this momentous achievement and will challenge and delight puzzle solvers everywhere.”
