GLM Electric Mobility Scooter

GLM Electric Mobility Scooter

The elderly population in Japan is growing. Estimates project it will crest 36 million people by 2025 while the children and working-age adults will decrease during that same timeframe. Japanese mobility company GLM has just unveiled an easier way for the elderly to get around that allows them to transition from driving an automobile to an Electric Mobility Scooter (EMS). This scooter is all-electric and has a non-threatening spherical design that should lend to better approachability and acceptance. The goal was to change the perception of personal Electric Mobility Scooters via its curved body, smoothly contoured and padded seat, broad LED headlight, and larger wheels. Still in development, the GLM EMS could be a game changer, and we hope to see it here someday so our folks don’t have to ride those annoying red trike contraptions anymore.
