Waking up in the darkness of winter sucks. Then daylight savings time punches you in the face. Well, all that and more is about to change with The Casper Glow Light, a brand new product from the online mattress company. The Glow Light goes beyond the run-of-the-mill and very expensive daylight alarm clocks that can cost hundreds of dollars, and it does far more. In its most basic operation function, the Glow Light works by dimming at bedtime to lull you to sleep and gradually brightening in the morning to gently wake you. The idea behind it is to help you fall asleep more naturally and to do the same for your waking moments. You can also pull it from its charging dock to use as a lantern, and a gentle shake gives you soft ambient light to make your way through the house. Twist it to brighten or dim, and sync it with other Glow Lights for uniform lighting where needed. All of it’s connected via Bluetooth to a smartphone app for total control. The only hard part about The Glow Light is learning how to stop playing with it and just go to bed.
