Introducing Tequila 5150, a new American Tequila. California’s Leal Vineyards has imported 16,000 blue agaves (=tequila plant) into the US from Mexico and plans on making the 1st ever American tequila. Hold yer horses, the plants will take around 8 years to mature. In the meantime, Tequila 5150 is being made in Mexico and is only available in California and Florida.
