As much as we want to take over our neighbor’s house and use one to get away from the kids, it’s not gonna happen. One family in Dnipro, Ukraine was fortunate enough to merge two apartments into a single one to create a truly epic living space for rest and play. Designed by SVOYA studio, the STEP-UP House is the perfect combination of private and open spaces along with premium materials like real wood, natural stone, and stainless steel to bring serenity and clean design to the quarters. There’s a big fireplace that does triple duty between the kitchen, living area, and dining room. There’s even a kid’s room that has a netted area for hovering shenanigans above a big sofa, as well as a secret entrance off the living room that opens up to a private den where we’d probably spend most of our time if we were so fortunate.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
