If these new Recycled CRT Glass Coasters are any indication, maybe it should. After discovering that countless CRT monitors hit the dump, the guys at Fireclay Tile decided to do something about it. With the help of ECS Recycling, Fireclay takes the front 3/4″ of the glass, melts it down and turns it into some pretty damn cool coasters. Even if we didn’t know that these things were made of those monitors we love to hate, we’d want them. The fact that it also makes us “part of the solution and not the problem” just makes the whole situation better.
