If the name North Drinkware sounds familiar, it’s because they’re the team responsible for The Oregon Pint Glass with the little Mt. Hood model in the bottom. They’re taking the idea and USGS data that made the original glass one of our best beer inventions and using it to make a Mt. Hood blanket with with Pendleton Woolen Mills (another heritage brand you’re probably familiar with).  Described by the brand as a natural evolution for their products and a way to bring the mountains home with you in new ways, this grayscale blanket is a gorgeous representation of the geologic features and topographic detail of Mt. Hood. Since it’s being produced with Pendleton’s jacquard weaving process, you know it’s going to be as comfortable and durable as it is pretty and warm. The Mt. Hood Blanket has already crushed its Kickstarter funding goal with one month left on the campaign. Mt. Hood Blankets have an estimated delivery in November.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
