It took the better part of two years, but the Tron: Legacy Light Cycle LEGO model that BrickBros UK created for LEGO Ideas has finally been approved by the toy brick giant to get a full retail kit. Before you get too excited thinking you’re going to be able to pick one up for the holidays, the kit isn’t going to hit shelves until some point in 2018. And when it does, as with most LEGO Ideas creations, it’s not going to be exactly like what you see here, because the official LEGO team still has to have their way with the user creation to make sure it’s viable for production. Based on how sleek this model is and what appears to be a relatively low brick count, we don’t foresee it changing all that much between now and then. Feel free to ogle all the images submitted by BrickBros UK as part of their LEGO Ideas submission while you wait patiently for the Light Cycle kit to actually hit shelves.
