La Boite Concept is a company that blends hi-fi audio with gorgeous furniture to create pieces that are as functional as they are pleasing to eye. Developed in collaboration with the artist / composer Calogero, the Laptop Dock Studio is an all-in-one desk and production area. The top left of the natural walnut desk flips up to reveal a storage space that doubles as a stand for music or reading material. The front right of the desk is an open storage area for anything you might need while you’re working. In the center, genuine black leather and the controls for the pièce de résistance—the built-in sound system. At the front you’ll find a pair of aluminum mid-range speakers and a pair of dome tweeters. Hidden inside the desk there’s also an aluminum woofer and full range wide sound rear speakers positioned at a forty-five degree angle. The elegant desk / media center is also decked out with all the tech you need to play music from almost any device.
