Designed by Chen Chen & Kai Williams for Brooklyn-based design house Good Thing, Folded Vessel is a multi-purpose storage unit / rack unlike most other options on the market. Folded Vessel is made in Pennsylvania and assembles to form an open cube with legs that’s perfectly sized to store and display records, magazines and books. On the assembly front, you take three identically sized sheets of powder-coated steel, fit them together and secure them with the included fasteners. In other words, Folded Vessel looks significantly better than, costs less and assembles quicker than furniture from IKEA.
