Most people don’t even read greeting cards.  They scan them like they were trying to get through The Great Gatsby.  Why would you waste five bucks on a card that doesn’t even garner a reaction when you could spend the same amount on one that guarantees it?  Blue Barnhouse creates simple, funny and often inappropriate greeting cards along with other printed products.  (It’s probably the reason the “Get Well/Sympathy” section is, at the moment, completely empty.)  Besides choosing any of their minimalist cards, Blue Barnhouse also offers coasters, t-shirts and other hilariously crass items.  There are, by the way, some cards that are just straight-up funny and could be used a bit more freely.  Give ’em out this holiday season and some people may even overlook the fact that there was no money enclosed.

Unzip your coat and have some mulled wine on the house—you’ve arrived at your final gifting destination: The Holiday Gift Guide. It’s like your friendly neighborhood one-stop holiday shop, except instead of balsa wood ornaments, ours is packed with thoughtful gifts for everyone on your list. Future heirlooms, small-but-significant stocking stuffers, and gear for getting out there (or staying in)—are all right here. There’s no music playing in the background though, so you’ll just have to hum Bing Crosby while you click around instead.
