debruir-weekemd-holdall

The DeBruir Weekend Holdall is an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, shrouded in mystery. It’s a weekender bag with dimensions as follows: 620mm x 250mm x 250mm. There is an interior flap that secures closed with leather straps and brass buckles. Then, there’s another flap on top of that to cover the first flap. It also appears to be made out of leather and can be utilized briefcase style or slung over your shoulder. Other than these few scant details, and the fact it looks damn good, there isn’t more information available. Since we already paraphrased Winston Churchill though, we’re going to run with that. If Winston Churchill alive today and he needed to double flap (or double bag) it, he would carry the DeBruir Weekend Holdall.

Vaer has been one of our favorite watchmakers for as long as we can remember because they produce new, classic watches based on iconic designs. Case in point, the Vaer G5 Meridian watch you see here. This timepiece is a 1950s-inspired 20ATM automatic watch that’s USA-assembled, dual timezone, built with ocean-ready functionality, self-winding and the brand’s first true GMT (the latest version of their core dive watch design). What’s more, it pays homage to other watches that are incredibly more expensive or hard to come by whilst also adding new aspects that makes this Vaer G5 Meridian watch more desirable than the other options in our opinion.
