Prohibition may have ended around 80 years ago, but we still get a kick out of a brand new speakeasy. And the latest one in Shanghai has set a pretty high bar for any more that plan on secretly opening their doors. Flask is a stunning concrete laced bar that happens to be hidden behind a vintage Coca-Cola vending machine tucked inside a sandwich shop. Alberto Caiola, who lead the design aspect of the bar, wanted to create something truly surprising and contradictory. Inside you’ll find bright neon signs, cold walls and accents, and light fixtures lined with copper. That is, of course, if you can find it.
