Cool Material is your Internet best friend. Part Barney Stinson, part Bear Grylls and part Don Draper, we scour the web, magazines and stores near and far to bring everything from gadgets and gizmos to watches and women right to your flickering screen of choice. After three years of just rounding up and reporting the best stuff the Internet has to offer, we decided that digital delivery wasn’t enough. The store we wanted to waste lunch hours browsing and blow paychecks patronizing didn’t exist, so we made it.
Shop Cool Material is the curated shop of generally awesome stuff. A collection of things we’ve drooled over, beaten the sh*t out of and reported about for the last three years. It’s pens and drinking paraphernalia. It’s wallets and business card holders. Knives and pick punches. Take a minute to check out the store (http://shop.coolmaterial.com) and then come back. Don’t worry, we’ll wait.
Requirements
Do you know how to use a computer? Would you buy most (or all) of the stuff on Shop Cool Material? Can you navigate the Intarwebs? Are you aware of the difference between “Reply” and “Reply All”? If you answered yes to all of those questions, keep reading and find out about what could be the job of your dreams. We’re pretty laid back (this is definitely a jeans and sneakers kind of place) and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for cool gear and the web.
This job is part-time (20-30 hours per week Mon-Fri) with serious potential to become full-time down the road.
