Carhartt’s “premium” arm, Carhartt Work in Progress, recently teamed up with everyone’s favorite affordable watchmaker, Timex, to create the Timex x Carhartt WIP Watch. On the design side, it appears to be a modified version of the popular Timex Expedition Acadia with Carhartt WIP branding on the face and the straps, which means it’s a fantastic field watch with upgraded styling. On the features and specs side, it includes everything you’d expect to find from a collaboration between two well-known brands. INDIGLO night-light. Olive and black nylon performance straps. Easy-set Quick-Date. 50M water resistance. It’s clean, easy-wearing and decked out in enough contrasting details (24 hour indices and second hand, NATO slip-through rings, Carhartt branding on the bands) to make it a worthy addition to any collection or wrist. The Timex x Carhartt WIP watch is currently available online and in the Carhartt WIP NYC store.

Ah, the waffle weave. Looks cool, feels great, reminds us of toasted Eggos. You’ve seen them before–probably in a fancy store or hotel–but Parachute’s brand new Waffle Towels are different. They’re spun using innovative Aerocotton Technology, which basically means they’ll be dry by the time your significant other finally gets out of the shower and realizes you stole their towel. Parachute’s Waffle Towels come in two sizes and two neutral colors. Plus, their 100% cotton construction means they start soft and only get softer with time. Even Kevin McCallister would approve.
