If it’s not broke, don’t fix it. Since it was first introduced in 1944, the iconic 501 has seen whole denim companies come and go in its lifetime, and Levi’s is now going to make a change. Luckily, they’re not replacing the legendary denim, but they are making a new version. The new 501 CT Jeans offer the same basic design with a lower rise and a tapered leg. The tapered bottom makes for a slightly more aesthetically pleasing look that doesn’t engulf your boots or sneakers. There are six different washes to choose from, and a black and a white option, as well. Don’t worry, the 501 isn’t going away, but we have to say, we like this new version a tad more.
