2018 Range Rover Velar

Officially debuting at the Geneva Motor show later this month, Jaguar Land Rover has finally pulled the cover off (or, the full cover) the SUV that’s going to be slotted between the Range Rover Sport and Evoque, the 2018 Range Rover Velar. With a panoramic glass roof, twin 10″ high-definition touchscreens, Range Rover styling and a host of luxury upgrades, the Range Rover Velar is an iconic classic in the world of mid-size SUVs even though it hasn’t rolled off the line yet. The Velar comes with an eight speed ZF automatic transmission with AWD mated to a 2.0L 247hp turbocharged four-cylinder, 180hp turbodiesel or 3.0L 380hp supercharged V6 engine. It is a Range Rover after all, so you’ll also find details like individual sliding armrests, configurable mood lighting, multiple color options, driver assistance, Luxtec and Suedecloth seating options with perforated grained leather, climate-controlled memory seats and heated, reclining rear seats as options. In short, the 2018 Range Rover Velar is a highly capable, insanely comfortable, immediately recognizable vehicle that brings everything that made Range Rover the name to beat in luxury SUVs to bear while also improving on the legacy they spent decades creating.
