The Social Network and 21 are two completely different movies, about two completely different things that both turned out, in our opinion, pretty good. Underneath the different plot mechanics (cards and social networks) and stars, though, you’ll find a vaguely similar story about empire building. Turns out the reason for that is the fact that the books both of those movies were based on were written by the same guy, Ben Mezrich. Who knew? His newest tale is one about the frat brothers from University of Montana that made Internet gambling a thing. The success of AbsolutePoker.com also kind of ruined Internet gambling too, but that’s not the point. Straight Flush goes all in (sorry, had to) with an exclusive, never before seen look behind the curtain with the guys that lived larger than Joe Francis… while it lasted. Read the book now so you’re prepared for the inevitable movie release.
