Ultraviolet Playing Cards

There are a lot of awesome products that end up on Kickstarter. The funding platform/payment system/social support vehicle has drained our bank accounts in the best way possible, but it’s most effective for a few things: pens, docks and playing cards. Ultraviolet from design house beta17 is our latest pick for “must have deck” because of it’s adherence to modern design aesthetic and its clear sci-fi influence. Plus, we love the color purple. But seriously, if there was a limited-edition Blade Runner deck of cards, we imagine the typography and the design elements would look pretty similar. Each deck is going to be printed by the US Playing Card Company with air cushion finish and performance coating on high quality paper stock.

Gerber-Pocket-Square-Linerlock-1_1024x1024

A pocket square is a touch of old school class. It’s an element that casually lets people know you’re a gentleman. This knife from Gerber borrows its name from the humble pocket square because it too is sharp and dressy. Eschewing superfluous design elements for a sleek, clean appearance, the Gerber Pocket Square Knife is refined and mature. The machined aluminum handle is paired with a 3” drop point blade and an ambidextrous thumb lift for one stunning folder. If James Bond relied on a pocket knife, this would be it.
