Normally we’d turn to J. Crew for everything to wear to a beachfront clambake:  Faded khaki shorts, a crisp white polo and a distressed leather belt we’d hope to have undone by some 10 in a sundress at the end of the night.  The classic clothier wouldn’t normally be the place we’d turn to for kitchen tools however.  Something about J. Crew selling this Original Maine Lobster Kit just makes sense though.  It fits the whole motif.  Cracking some lobsters and a couple of beers during the summer while relaxing with some Blake Lively-eque ladies (don’t interrupt our fantasy) sounds like the perfect beach day to us.  Plus, buying the shell-cracker and pick set will help support a company dedicated to finding disabled people employment opportunities, so you can feel good about your awesome anyway purchase.

A pocket square is a touch of old school class. It’s an element that casually lets people know you’re a gentleman. This knife from Gerber borrows its name from the humble pocket square because it too is sharp and dressy. Eschewing superfluous design elements for a sleek, clean appearance, the Gerber Pocket Square Knife is refined and mature. The machined aluminum handle is paired with a 3” drop point blade and an ambidextrous thumb lift for one stunning folder. If James Bond relied on a pocket knife, this would be it.
