As fun as some games are on our phones, many are ruined because we want to play them with a real controller. With Project SHIELD, not only is your gaming experience about as portable as it would be with your cell, but its complete with a full-size controller. The system features a 5″ 720p retinal multi-touch display, an impressive little audio system, and high-speed WiFi connectivity. The whole device runs Android Jelly Bean and gives you access to all your favorite Android apps and games. The handheld Project Shield should be out later this year, and will run on NVIDIA’s Tegra 4 chip (the world’s fastest mobile processor). Loaded with a Micro SD slot, a USB port, and HDMI output, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
