Newton-Espresso-Press
If you want to pare down the amount of the gadgets you have taking up space on your counter without making sacrifices in the caffeine consumption department you’re going to want to check out the Newton Espresso Press. The sleek espresso machine was dreamt up by two designer/engineers to “craft a minimalistic espresso machine for the home or studio that produces barista quality espresso consistently.” With the high quality seals, piston design and leverage system the press consistently delivers 8-10 Bar Pressure, so it comes through on its claim of producing that barista quality espresso consistently. What the original brief leaves out that the final product delivers on are what we think are the most interesting points. It’s non-electric and operated with only the lever. This fun, interesting and effective way of making coffee also means it’s silent, so no waking up the better half for late night creative sessions. There are no internal parts or pumps that can go bad. It’s wall-mountable and easily transportable. The award-winning Newton Espresso machine launches on Kickstarter in October.

Ah, the waffle weave. Looks cool, feels great, reminds us of toasted Eggos. You’ve seen them before–probably in a fancy store or hotel–but Parachute’s brand new Waffle Towels are different. They’re spun using innovative Aerocotton Technology, which basically means they’ll be dry by the time your significant other finally gets out of the shower and realizes you stole their towel. Parachute’s Waffle Towels come in two sizes and two neutral colors. Plus, their 100% cotton construction means they start soft and only get softer with time. Even Kevin McCallister would approve.
