zippo-lighter

We’re used to using Zippos to light the cigarettes of beautiful women emerging from late night drinking establishments, hoping that our skill in opening and closing the little silver lighter faster than Wyatt Earp would somehow entice them into our abode.  While this rarely (read: Never) panned out, we still carried the trusty lighter around with us even if we didn’t light up ourselves.  When we take our lives out of the after-hours of the city and into the twilight hours of the outdoors we switch over to this Zippo Emergency Fire Starter.  The orange Zippo has a reliable flint wheel (it is a Zippo after all) and water-resistant waxed tinder sticks to light when you need to get a fire going pronto, because emergencies – like slightly buzzed smoking hot women – need to be acted upon ASAP.

Gerber-Pocket-Square-Linerlock-1_1024x1024

A pocket square is a touch of old school class. It’s an element that casually lets people know you’re a gentleman. This knife from Gerber borrows its name from the humble pocket square because it too is sharp and dressy. Eschewing superfluous design elements for a sleek, clean appearance, the Gerber Pocket Square Knife is refined and mature. The machined aluminum handle is paired with a 3” drop point blade and an ambidextrous thumb lift for one stunning folder. If James Bond relied on a pocket knife, this would be it.
