Luke-Skywalker-Lightsaber-Auction

As kids, there was no movie prop we wanted more than the lightsaber Luke Skywalker wielded in Return of the Jedi. As a matter of fact, we can’t think of a movie prop we want more as an adult, unless you consider a time-traveling DeLorean a “prop.” Well, it looks like the childhood dreams and adult fantasies of one lucky bidder are about to become a reality. That’s because one of Luke’s lightsabers from the the final installment of the original Star Wars films is hitting the auction block at Bonhams. Used in the Sarlacc Pit scene in Return of the Jedi, this particular lightsaber was seen during shots of R2-D2 and is one of three used during the battle. Built from solid metal and rubber, the lightsaber will run you a minimum of $150,000.

Ah, the waffle weave. Looks cool, feels great, reminds us of toasted Eggos. You’ve seen them before–probably in a fancy store or hotel–but Parachute’s brand new Waffle Towels are different. They’re spun using innovative Aerocotton Technology, which basically means they’ll be dry by the time your significant other finally gets out of the shower and realizes you stole their towel. Parachute’s Waffle Towels come in two sizes and two neutral colors. Plus, their 100% cotton construction means they start soft and only get softer with time. Even Kevin McCallister would approve.
