Guitar picks are like matchbooks. You get them for free out of a little bowl by the register. They do their job well enough, they’re used up quickly, and discarded without a thought. The guitar picks from Fine Picks are a far cry from this: made from exotic tropical hardwoods with names that sound like mosquito-borne diseases–Cocobolo, Bocote, and African Blackwood. These picks though are gorgeous, with streaks of beautiful wood grain and rich colors ranging from brown to reddish, and almost purple to black. Each has a personality, as wood type, density, and grain give the pick a unique “attack” sound on the strings. So even if your guitar playing sounds like someone drop kicked a harp, at least your pick will be the nicest around.
