Sometimes life calls for a bag that’s more pro than a messenger pack but not so “fine leather formal” that you look like you’re coming from Gosford Park. ALKR’s Urban Briefcase is that happy middle ground. With pockets and compartments for your laptop, documents, credit cards, pens, phone, camera, and like 49 other things, it’s wonderfully utilitarian. You have to look closely, but it comes with a few other interesting extras. The laptop compartment is lined with faux fur. The bag comes with a custom-designed “zipper puller”… we’re not sure what they mean by that, but we’re intrigued. Made from durable cordura and large enough to store a 15″ laptop. $185
