If you’re anything like us, you always wondered what happened to the original “The Most Interesting Man in the World” after Dos Equis sent him to Mars never to be heard from again. He’s back, and “The Most Interesting Man in the World” is now drinking Astral Tequila. To be fair, he did always tell us he didn’t always drink beer. We just didn’t expect Jonathan Goldsmith—aka the actor second only to Bill Murray as coolest human being alive—to be back so soon and drinking tequila. If you’re unfamiliar with Astral Tequila, the brand was founded by Master Sommelier Richard Betts in an effort to recreate the way the spirit was made a century and a half ago before production was industrialized. With awards from The New York Times, the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Food & Wine it’s safe to safe the mission was accomplished. Now we just have to wait for the awesome marketing campaigns.
